Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, a Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer, has revealed that he did not want Manchester City to win the UEFA Champions League final against Inter Milan.
The DAILY POST reported that City beat Inter 1-0 to win their first Champions League trophy on Saturday night in Istanbul, Turkey.
Burna Boy, the first African artist to perform at the Champions League final, spoke with Paramount+ shortly afterward.
He stated that he did not want City to win because he supports their rival, Manchester United.
"This was the most amazing thing," he said, adding, "even though I honestly didn't want City to win for sentimental reasons, it's okay."
"It's incredible to be performing at the UCL final."
